Machine Calibration Verification Program
This service enables customers to meet their requirements for machinery calibration verification as being required by ISO and other programs like QS9000. This service will include checks of:
- Machine Hydraulic Pressures
- Injection Velocities
- Clamp, injection and ejector positions
- Barrel and oil temperatures
- Injection, cool and cycle timers
- General Machinery Conditions
- Report summarizing results
The scope of Calibration Verification Procedure is to verify feedback instruments used on injection molding machinery which are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This document also provides a traceable means of calibration verification for injection molding machines.
Machine Calibration Adjustment
Required machine adjustments to calibrate back to original OEM specifications for the following machine parameters
- Machine Hydraulic Pressures
- Injection Velocities
- Clamp, injection and ejector positions
- Barrel and oil temperatures
- Injection, cool and cycle timers
Upon completion machine will receive a calibration certificate.
Machine Performance Validation
Evaluate machine’s performance through complete analysis of machine cycle. Areas for improvement include:
- Identify Areas for overall cycle time improvement
- Identify machine capability (accuracy and repeatability) and cycle setup
- Identify machine malfunctions and inconsistencies
- Identify delays within machine cycle
Machine Safety Verification
Check all machine safeties against applicable ANSI standards.
